3M 1318 Tape is a polyester film tape with acrylic pressuresensitive adhesive. It has excellent flagging resistance and solvent resistance, making it well suited for applications where cleaning solvents and mineral oil are present.
It consists of materials that are represented in many UL Recognized Insulation Systems and has a UL 130°C temperature rating. It offers good wet grab, excellent shelf life, smooth, even unwind and is suitable for printing and use on automated equipment.
Applications:3M 1318 Tape is especially suited for applications such as wrapping coils, capacitors,wire harnesses,transformers, shaded pole motors and fractional horsepower motors.
